We are nowinterviewing candidates for a FullTime Repair & ServiceCoordinator position . This role will be 90% remote with onlyoccasional trips to our office near Lake Hopatcong .

As our Repairand Service FieldCoordinator you will play a crucial role in thecoordination repair and maintenance activities for both our commercial and residential roofing and siding repair technicians.

You will be responsible forscheduling field service technicians managing work orders andensuring timely completion of repairs.

The ideal candidate willpossess strong organizational skills excellent communicationabilities and an understanding of repair and service schedulingtools and bestpractices.

JobResponsibilities :

• Receiveservice requests from customers sales representatives or internalresources.
• Coordinatewith field service technicians to schedule repair and maintenanceappointments based on availability andurgency.
• Assignwork orders to technicians and provide them with all necessaryinformation including customer contact details service requirementsand equipmentspecifications.
• Monitorthe progress of ongoing service appointments and communicateupdates to customers and internal stakeholders asneeded.
• Optimizetechnician routes and schedules to maximize efficiency and minimizetravel time andcosts.
• Handleany schedule changes emergencies or lastminute service requestseffectively to ensure minimal disruption to servicedelivery.
• Provideaccurate and timely information to customers regarding timelinestechnician arrival times and resolution ofissues.
• Addresscustomer concerns and complaints promptly and escalate unresolvedissues to the appropriate channels forresolution.
• Liaisewith internal tech experts to provide guidance and assistance tofield techs as they diagnose and troubleshootissues.
• Ensuretechnicians have access to necessary tools parts and documentationto complete repairsefficiently.
• Coordinatewith vendors or suppliers to procure replacement parts orcomponents asneeded.
• Maintainaccurate records and generate reports on servicemetrics.
• Implementquality assurance measures to ensure repairs are completed to thehigheststandard.
• Identifytraining needs or skill gaps among field technicians and recommendtraining programs &resources.
• Ensureall repairs and maintenance activities comply with company policiesindustry regulations and safetystandards.

Requirements

PositionRequirements :

• HighSchool diploma and equivalent experience in a relevant industrysuch as HVAC General Contracting oroperations.
• Previousexperience in a field service coordination or dispatch rolepreferably in a repair and maintenanceenvironment.
• Strongorganizational and multitasking skills with the ability toprioritize tasks and manage competing prioritieseffectively.
• Excellentcommunication skills both verbal and written with the ability tointeract professionally with customers technicians and internalstakeholders.
• Technicalproficiency and familiarity with the products or equipment beingserviced.
• Proficiencyin using scheduling software CRM systems and other servicemanagementtools.
• Problemsolvingabilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues andmitigatingrisks.

Position Requirements : High School diploma and equivalentexperience in a relevant industry, such as HVAC, GeneralContracting, or operations.

Previous experience in a field servicecoordination or dispatch role, preferably in a repair andmaintenance environment. Strong organizational and multitaskingskills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competingpriorities effectively.

Technicalproficiency and familiarity with the products or equipment beingserviced. Proficiency in using scheduling software, CRM systems,and other service management tools.

Problem-solving abilities and aproactive approach to resolving issues and mitigating risks.Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-qualityservice to customers.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities,schedules, and customer needs. Knowledge of safety regulations andprocedures related to repair and maintenanceactivities.
